Commonwealth Games 2010 Disciplines

Aquatics

Delhi 2010 will feature the following three disciplines; the events will be held at the Dr. S.P. Mukherjee Aquatic Complex:


Swimming
Swimming is core for men and women and has featured on the Commonwealth Games Programme of every Games. Delhi 2010 will feature 38 events over October 4 to 9, with 38 gold medals on offer.

Synchronised Swimming
Synchronised Swimming is optional for women only and first featured on the Commonwealth Games Programme in Edinburgh 1986. Delhi 2010 will feature two events – Solo and Duet – on October 6 and 7, 2010.

Diving
Diving is optional for men and women and has featured on the Commonwealth Games Programme of every Commonwealth Games, with up to 10 countries regularly sending athletes to participate. Ten competition events will be held over October 10 to 13, 2010, with a total 10 gold medals on offer.
