Bad timing and fear of illness will keep Great Britain's best gymnasts home from the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India, the British media is reporting. (Best headline of the bunch: "Delhi Belly forces British gymnasts to skip Commonwealth Games 10 months early," via The Telegraph.)

Gymnastics events at the Commonwealth Games are scheduled for Oct. 4-8. The 2010 World Championships in Rotterdam, Holland begin Oct. 17.
